Seriously!?!

That darn groundhog!!! Can we please get a break with this weather!?! After the huge snowstorm hit, we measured that we got about 31 inches of snow! Let's just say I haven't made it into the gym the past few days...

I have however dug out my entire collection of fabulous workout videos. It's almost like a scrapbook of my life. I have an ancient VHS "Jane Fonda" workout video. No joke- she's got feathered hair and is wearing legwarmers. I remember doing this tape with my mom when I was SUPER flexible- that right there tells ya how old it is. I also have a few Kathy Smith and Denise Austin videos. I always loved them. I have the whole FIRM set... which really is good. It's totally cheesy, but good. I even found my bootlegged copy of Tae-bo. One of my hubby's baseball buddies copied it for me... and if ya don't shut it off as soon as you are done, it turns into porno. Nice. I love me some Billy Blanks- so I also have a few Tae-bo DVD's. It doesn't stop there... I have the whole Carmen Electra Aerobic Striptease library. That was a gift from my mother-in-law... Sometimes I wonder if that was really for me or for her son. Ha! I then came to the most recent DVD's that I have purchased... Winsor Pilates, Fitmomma, and P90X. Oh wait- I couldn't find P90X. I craigslisted that bad boy a couple of months ago. I heard it is a great program... just not for me. If you wanna try it though, I say have at it- you can easily make your money back if you are open to meeting a stranger in the Harris Teeter parking lot, exchanging cash, and are not afraid to look like you just made a drug deal. I also found the Jillian Michaels 30-day Shred, and since I'm a huge Biggest Loser fan, I settled on that. It's actually a great workout and I don't know why I didn't take it out of the wrapper until now.

After looking at all the tapes, I realized I've been fighting this weight battle for quite some time. The most frustrating thing is I have finally found something that I love and that works for me... and I can't do it until the weather clears up! It's soooo frustrating.

Justin recommended starting my day with sets of 100's. Does anyone want to join me? This week, how about starting your day with 3 sets of an exercise for 100 reps?! I'm picking 100 sit-ups, 100 push-ups, and 100 lunges. And in the meantime, I'm going to keep making precious memories of this snowstorm. It hasn't been that bad.:)
