I wore a bikini to the pool on the Fourth of July.
The public pool. As in out in public.
No one stared. No one gawked. No one said I shouldn't be wearing it. No one cared.
Not even me. Well, maybe just a little. I'm still 25 pounds overweight. But I'm getting there. And I'm getting over myself.
Life is too short.
